OPERA GUILD SEASON PREVIEW BOOK
The San Francisco Opera Guild Season Preview Book is one of the most comprehensive publications of its kind in the country. Synopses of operas from the current season, written by international authorities on the subject, are featured along with illustrations and photographs. Biographies of the composers and librettists, as well as historical information are included. The Season Book contains a calendar of Guild programs and fund raising activities, cast lists, and other materials related to the opera season.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
San Francisco Opera Guild Scholarships support talented and promising young individuals enrolled in the San Francisco Opera Center training programs. Each year the Guild provides financial support to one Adler Fellow and three participants in the Merola Opera Program. 1997 Recipients:
