Interactive Opera
The Opera Center also offers Interactive Opera, a presentation that uses four singers and a trunkful of surprises that help students create a new opera in just under an hour. With music, characters and plots from opera literature, Opera Center singers introduce elements of opera to students. Using these examples, students build an opera by creating a musical story with a beginning, middle and end. The culmination of the project is a performance of the student's very own opera. |
