Schwabacher Debut Recitals
Inaugurated in 1983 and endowed by opera patron and former San Francisco Opera singer James Schwabacher, this series annually presents four Opera Center singers in local recital debuts. Recitalists have included Susan Graham, Deborah Voigt, Brian Asawa and Thomas Hampson. Recitals take place at Old First Church in San Francisco during the winter and spring months. |
