Ordering Tickets Online
Tickets may be ordered online up to 48 hours prior to each performance.
To use the Online Ticket Order Form follow these steps:

1. First choose a performance from the Ticket Order Form, or a production, date and time from Current Productions.
2. Select an available section and fill in the number of seats you are requesting.
3. If you wish to order tickets for an additional performance, simply repeat the above steps.
4. Complete the Patron Information and Credit Card Information.

You will be guided through these steps once you begin the process.

Your order will be processed by the Opera Box Office and acknowledged via E-mail within 48 hours.

By Phone or In Person
You may charge your tickets by phone (415) 864-3330, or purchase your tickets in person at the Opera Box Office, 199 Grove Street, San Francisco, at the corner of Van Ness Ave, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Saturday. See our list of Current Productions.

Subscription Sales
Subscription renewals for the Fall Opera Season take place in January. Upon  completion of renewals, requests for new Subscriptions are processed.


Standing Room
There are 200 standing room tickets available for each performance at the War Memorial Opera House. Tickets go on sale (cash only and one per person) at 10:00 a.m. on the day of each performance at the Box Office, 199 Grove Street. On Matinee days only, sales commence at the War Memorial Opera House Box Office, 301 Van Ness Avenue at 10:00 a.m. (50 tickets are retained for sale 2 hours before each performance at the Opera House Box Office). Standees will be admitted according to ticket number.

Student and Senior Rush
Student and Senior Discount tickets, if available, go on sale 2 hours before each performance at the Opera House Box Office (one per person with ID). Call (415) 864-3330 on performance day for availability.

Group Orders
If you have a group of 20 or more persons, call our Group Sales Department at (415) 621-4403, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday for assistance in placing your order.
 

Ticket Exchange Policy
If your schedule changes and you are unable to use your tickets for a particular performance, you may exchange them for another performance of the same opera, based on availability, up to 2 hours prior to curtain of your original performance. A surcharge of $25.00 per ticket applies, plus any price differential.

All orders are final. No refunds or cancellations. Repertoire, casts and dates are subject to change.
