Celebrate our 75th Season in the newly renovated War Memorial Opera House. For 18 months, weâve all anticipated the grand reopening of our beloved Opera House­now seismically sound, with contemporary technology, more comfort and a return to its original elegance.
When entering the renovated Opera House, you will be dazzled by the re-gilded ceilings, polished chandelier, and reupholstered seats.

The 265 rosettes on the ceiling of the lobby have each been re-gilded, and the entire building will shine. Restroom facilities have been increased and wheelchair ramps have been installed. In addition to the extensive seismic upgrade, weâve added advanced audio, video, and lighting systems, as well as a computerized cooling system.

To make our 75th Season especially memorable, our first production will be a beautiful re-creation of Tosca, the opera that inaugurated our first season at the Opera House in 1932.  Join us for another historic evening­and all the glamour of our 75th Season.
